Since September 5, the film “EL TALENTO”, directed by Polo Menárguez, has been playing in theaters. Starring Ester Expósito and Pedro Casablanc, it is based on Arthur Schnitzler’s 1924 novel La señorita Else. The story follows Elsa, a promising cello student who attends an exclusive party with her friend Idoia, portrayed by our beloved Mirela. The film explores themes such as the price of talent, the abuse of power, and the loss of social class.
Polo Menárguez co-wrote the screenplay with Fernando León de Aranoa, who also produced the film alongside Patricia de Muns, Laura Fdez. Espeso, and Javier Méndez.
